The effects of  Bacillus thuringiensis and Neemazal using in
Microbial and Organic struggle on Pristiphora abietina (Christ)
(Hymenoptera : Tenthredinidae)

Abstract

The effect rate of Bacillus thuringiensis and Neemazal were studied determination in trial studies making for microbial struggle of Lymantria dispar (L.) damaging in Picea (Picea orientalis) forests. In trials made for bacterial preparat and organical preparat, larvaes in the secand-third tunica of 15 numbers P.abietina were put in every trial pots. Drug prepared by adding 1 cc to 1 liter water from Bacillus thuringiensis var. kurstaki being 16.000 bacterial in mg was sprayed to fresh Picea twigs. Leaves which were wetted with drug were put in trial pots by drying on 28.05.2012. The same time, mixture prepared by adding 1 cc Neemazal to 1 liter water was sprayed to Picea needles. After shoots which were wetted were dried, they and 15 larvaes were put in trial pots. With drug prepared by B. thuringiensis in control made on 03.06.2012, it was determined that 62 numbers of 75 larvaes were died, 7 larvaes were passed in pupae stage, 6 larvaes were alive. In control made on 10.06.2012, it was observed that 6 larvaes were also passed in pupae stage. B. Thuringiensis was observed to be effective in rate of %82,7 on larvaes of Pristiphora abietina. With drug prepared by Neemazal in control made on 03.06.2012, it was determined that 58 numbers of 75 larvaes were died, 9 numbers were passed in pupae stage, 8 numbers were alive. 14 pupaes were adult. In control made on 10.06.2012, it was determined that 8 larvaes were passed in pupae stage. Furthermore, Neemazal was observed to be effective in rate of %77,3.
